The $7,000 septic story
Every deal has a moment where it could go either way. On this one, it was the septic system.
This property had operated for years with the well (its water source) less than 50 feet from the leach field. We had to get that right before the home could close, and that meant moving the septic system. It also meant we had to find an extra $7,000 to make it happen.
We had awesome clients, and the seller was a saint through the whole thing. Everybody stayed calm and kept working toward the closing table, and we got it done thanks to DnD Septic out of Colbert. Owner David McKinnon and his crew moved the system so the property was right and the sale could close.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the distance between a well and a septic leach field matter?
The leach field releases treated wastewater into the soil, and a private well is the home's drinking water source, so distance between the two is something we always look at on rural homes. On this one, the well was less than 50 feet from the leach field, and the septic system had to be moved.
Who moved the septic system on Lemonhill Rd?
DnD Septic out of Colbert, Oklahoma, owned by David McKinnon. You can find them on our local pros list.
