Meet Brian & Jonelle Allen: Texoma's Husband-and-Wife Real Estate Team

People usually ask us two things when we first meet: how do you two split the work, and is it strange working with your spouse? The short answers are "by what we are each good at" and "not at all." Here's the longer version.

Who are Brian and Jonelle Allen?

We are a married couple who started our team in 2015 and are licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma. That matters around here, because Lake Texoma sits right on the state line and a lot of our clients shop both sides. On any given week we might be showing a lake house near Pottsboro, walking land outside Durant, and pricing a home in Denison.

What does Brian specialize in?

Brian grew up in southern Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Navy's submarine force, and spent his career in marketing and advertising before real estate. That mix shows up in how he works:

Her view is that every sale is a relationship first and a transaction second. 💙

How do we work as a team?

Our favorite question to ask a client is simple: "How can we help you today?" Everything else follows from the answer. In practice that means:

• Two sets of eyes on every deal. One of us leads, the other backs up, so nothing slips through.

• Both sides of the river. Texas and Oklahoma contracts, disclosures, and customs differ; we handle both.
